Why Volunteer at RRYS?

RRYS is an all-volunteer organization.  Offering to help in the smallest way makes a HUGE difference.  Please let us know if you would like to be a volunteer.

How is RRYS financed?

RRYS’ main source of revenue is gained through registration fees, fundraisers,  sponsorships, in-kind donations, and concessions.  We are a non-profit organization; not state, county or city funded.  Therefore our operation expenses depended solely upon the aforementioned revenue streams.

What is Team Sponsorship?

Each basketball and flag football team is required to secure a team sponsorship of $250. Each football team is required to secure a team sponsorship of $500.  Cheer squads are required to secure a $300 sponsorship.  Teams/Cheer Squads that are not fully sponsored prior to the conclusion of the season will forfeit their last game, awards and the opportunity to participate in the playoffs/championships.  You may contact the Sponsorship Advisor for assistance if needed.

Why do we require Team Sponsorships?

In an effort to keep cost at a minimum to you, it is necessary to solicit contributions from our community.  All monies received help to pay the cost of insurance, trophies, referee fees, equipment purchases and rental fees.

Why do you require a Fundraiser?

Each player will be responsible for purchasing a fundraiser at the cost of $25.  Once purchased the player may recuperate this expense by selling the fundraiser item to  interested patrons.

No Pay - No Play Policy?

Many parents pull from many resources to ensure that the required registration and fundraiser fees are paid.  To remain fair, parents who have not paid or made adequate payment arrangements will not be allowed to participate in practice or games until all monies are paid.  Any team or cheer squad found in violation of this policy will result in a dismissal of the coach.

Other cost:

RR Youth Sports does NOT provide any protective equipment for Tackle Football. We ask that parents invest in the protection of their players and their unique statures, abilities, styles and interest in the game. We do have merchants and distributors that offer discounts to our families. This information will be made available upon season registration and football season equipment availability.

Pictures - Wade’s photography provides our pictures.  You have the option to purchase individual and/or team pictures.  Although the purchase of pictures is not required, we do ask that each child is present to participate in the team photo.

Snacks - Each Team Parent  is asked that they coordinate the provision of both a team half-time and post-game snack with parents of each team.

Memorabilia - At the discretion of the team, our Vendor Services Coordinator can provide Team Parent with information to order; Team shirts, decals, spirit banner etc. RR Youth Sports retains the RRYS logo and can provide decals for the sport of your choice.

Team Party - Team Parties are at the discretion of the team and all parties involved.  These charges are paid by the team.

RRYS will host an End-Of-The Season Banquet for football season.  Ticket prices are kept at reasonable prices to accommodate our families.  More information will be provided during the season.
